One of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat when I'm in the area or sometimes it will drive an hour just to get them I get a steak and cheese with extra meat and banana peppers
Love the fact that there are locations on the east side, south side and west side of Lansing so we can pick up one of their delicious sandwiches nearly any time we are in town

Very good and quick. Old decorations, but why fix what isn't broken. Had a bar be Que steak and onion it was very good. Definitely worth stopping if you're in town.

My first time at a Big John restaurant. I've been really wanting a good Philly Cheesesteak sandwich lately and this is really as close as it gets in Michigan. I've always seen their commercials up North but never had the chance to visit one. The staff were super friendly and helpful here at the Cedar Rd Lansing store and it was great to watch the cook make everything fresh. I was worried that the steak wouldn't be seasoned right or be dry like so many other imitations I've tried at other places that claim to have a cheesesteak. But I needn't had worry as their ribeye was chopped very thin, was very flavorful and had plenty of juices and seasoning. If you're looking for a cheesesteak, per se, maybe ask for some extra provolone cheese - but otherwise this was a wonderful working man's sandwich and I really like the atmosphere. Keep up the great job John, keeping people full!
Very attentive this time around! A couple of mistakes on our order, but they fixed it with a smile. I still personally love their sandwiches with red sauce, but heaven help you with the stains should you drop some steak and sauce on your shirt!
